Kuwait Petroleum announces new divisional CEOs, chairpersons

Kuwait Petroleum Corporation announced new CEOs and chairpersons for the group companies, appointing Walid Khalid al-Badr and Emad Mahmoud Sultan and CEOs of Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC) and Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) respectively.

KPC CEO Hashem Sayed Hashem announced a plethora of new heads of the companies of KPC, who will serve in their positions for three years as they replace members whose terms had expired, according to a statement on KUNA- the state news agency.

Sheikh Nawaf Saud Al-Sabah was assigned as the CEO for Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC) and KPC Holdings.

Meanwhile, Sanad Al-Sanad was appointed the chairman of KOC, Hamza Bakhsh as head of KNPC, and Hamad al-Terkait will lead Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC), Hashem said.

He also named Qassem al-Majadi as chairman of KUFPEC, Ahmad Habib to lead Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC), Bader al-Khashti as head of Kuwait Oil Tanker Company (KOTC), Fuad al-Abbasi as Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC) and Sheikh Ali Hamoud al-Sabah as chairman of Petroleum Services Company (PSC).

Additionally, Hatem al-Awadhi, Ali Shehab, Abdullah al-Sumaithi and Nasser al-Shemaa were appointed acting CEOs respectively of KIPIC, KOTC, KGOC and PSC.

 Abdul-Nasser Al-Fulaij was appointed as the managing director for global marketing at KPC.
