Gazpromneft-Lubricants, the operator of Gazprom Neft’s oil business has increased its sales of premium lubricants under the G-Energy brand by 12 per cent to 52 thousand tons by the end of 2018.
In a press statement the Russian firm said that total sales volume increased by 21 per cent and amounted to 703 thousand tons. Sales in Russia grew by 479 thousand tons (a jump of 26 per cent), and on the international market saw an increase of 224,000 tons (an increase of 11 per cent) by the end of 2017.
The jump in sales has been attributed to the strengthening of Gazprom Neft’s international distribution network, which currently amounts to 300 partner companies, as well as the expansion of the product line and entering new markets. In 2018 the company’s products are represented in 78 countries, including Singapore, Tanzania, Nepal and Pakistan.
Alexandr Truhan, Director General, Gazpromneft-Lubricants said: “Consistent growth in premium lubricants sales allowed the Company to reach its strategic performance targets two years ahead of schedule. This became possible due to the Gazprom Neft oils business complex development, execution of the priority projects on product line increase, further enhancement of technical service products, modernisation of production facilities and implementation of advanced environmental and industrial safety standards”.
