Kuwait Foreign Petroleum Exploration Company (KUFPEC) and Pakistan’s Oil & Gas Development Company (OGDCL) signed a preliminary upstream co-operation agreement, according to Pakistani media reports.
The agreement will see the companies explore potential joint works in E&P projects in the Middle East, Pakistan and other international locations.
OGDCL will also be given the opportunity to participate in KUFPEC’S global operations as a joint-venture partner, according to the agreement.
KUFPEC - the exploration, development and production company - has assets in 14 countries. In addition to the Middle East, Asia, the UK, Norway and Australia, the company also has a presence in Africa.
